Deploy Flow
Deployment: Testing and Launching Your Assistant
Once you've finished creating your flow, it's time to test and deploy your assistant. Here's how the process works:
Step 1: Local Testing
Before deploying, you can test your assistant locally to ensure everything is working as expected.
-
How to Test Locally:
Go to the "Tests" tab in the interface. Here, you can interact with your assistant to evaluate its responses and the training you’ve defined. -
Important Notes:
- This is a local-only test—it allows you to check the chatbot’s behavior but doesn’t integrate with the rest of the system yet.
Step 2: Deploying to Sandbox
After completing your local tests, the next step is deploying your assistant.
-
What is Sandbox?
Sandbox is a safe environment within the platform where you can test your system freely. It acts like a playground for experimentation, ensuring everything runs as expected without affecting live environments. -
Why Use Sandbox?
- Test the full system functionality.
- Identify and fix any issues before moving to a live stage.
Step 3: Moving to Staging or Production
If you're satisfied with the results in Sandbox, you can proceed to more advanced deployment environments.
- Available Environments:
- Staging: Ideal for further testing with near-production settings.
-
Production: Deploy your system live for end users to access.
-
Custom Deployment Options:
With the right subscription, you can deploy your assistant in a way that suits your needs, choosing how and where it will go live.
Summary of Deployment Steps
- Test locally in the "Tests" tab.
- Deploy to Sandbox for platform-wide testing.
- Move to Staging or Production if you’re ready to go live.
This process ensures your assistant is thoroughly tested and ready to perform seamlessly in a live environment.
